About the tool.
Q.01What doesn’t the tool check?
It analyzes the HTML of the page you enter, without running its scripts or downloading its images. For full loading speed, also use Google’s PageSpeed Insights. A high score guarantees neither rankings nor legal compliance.
Q.02Do you keep the address or the result?
No. The analysis happens on the spot and nothing is saved, except a hashed fingerprint of your IP address kept for at most two hours to limit the number of checks. See the privacy policy.
Q.03Why is the privacy policy checked?
In Québec, Law 25 requires a business that collects personal information through technological means, such as a form, to publish a privacy policy. The tool only looks for a link; our Law 25 guide covers the rest.
Q.04Can I check a competitor’s site?
Yes: the tool only reads what any visitor receives when opening the public page.
